Accelerated Reader

We participate in Accelerated Reader to help student’s reading skills. Mrs. Lemon administers the STAR Test to students four (4) times a year to monitor their progress. Students receive a color code for the level of books they need to read and a point goal for the nine (9) weeks. These guidelines help to develop reading comprehension and skills: 

● Students should read books on their level and take an AR test when finished with the book. 

● Students should not use the book to answer the questions. 

● Students are limited to one (1) AR test per day.
